Ingredients you need:

  • 400 g. Pork cut
  • 200 ml. Water for gravy sauce
  • 10 tablespoons of oyster sauce
  • 8 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons palm sugar
  • 4 tablespoons five-spice powder
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced for gravy sauce
  • 4 boiled eggs, optional
  • 200 g. Bok choi, optional

Start by gathering all the essential ingredients you’ll need to make Khao Moo Yang with gravy sauce.

In a large bowl, marinate the pork with oyster sauce, soy sauce, palm sugar, and a pinch of five-spice powder.

Mix everything together until the palm sugar fully dissolves, then let the pork marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Once the pork is ready, preheat your air fryer to 180°C. Pop the marinated pork in and cook for about 10 minutes.

Then flip the pork, raise the temperature to 200°C, and cook for another 10 to 12 minutes. Adjust the time as needed depending on how thick your cut of meat is.

Once the pork is cooked through, take it out of the air fryer and slice it into thin pieces.

While the pork is cooking, you can prepare the gravy sauce using the leftover marinade. Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a saucepan, then add the minced garlic. Stir it until it turns golden and fragrant.
