To make this recipe, you are going to need:
- 400 G. Chicken minced ( Any meat you like )
- 5 cloves minced garlic
- 7 minced chilies
- 200 G. Thai basil leaves
- 3 tbs. Oyster sauce
- 3 tbs. Soy sauce
- 1 tbs. fish sauce
- 2 small spoons Sugar
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to make Thai Basil Chicken:
1 Heat the oil until it heats up, add the cloves garlic minced, and chilies minced. Stir it until fragrant.
2 Add Chicken minced and stir-fry until beginning to brown. Pour all the sauces and sugar over the stir fry. Cook and stir until the sauce and chicken caramelize for 2 minutes. If you feel like it’s too dry, you can also add small amounts of broth or water ( little by little).
3 Add Thai basil leaves. Stir it until the basil is wilted for about 20 seconds.
4 Serve over rice and you can top with a crunchy fried egg.
