Grilled Tofu with Gochujang Sauce Recipe

Ingredients you need:

  • 250 g. firm tofu
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 tbsp. Gochujang sauce
  • 3 tbsp. Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp. Honey
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcester sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • spring onion
  • sesame

Drain Tofu and gently press them down with a clean kitchen towel to let the water out for 15 minutes. And then cut it into a bite. Add olive oil and sprinkle some salt over the tofu bites. And then mix it together

Heat a pan-fry over medium-high heat. Add the tofu and toss to crisp up on all sides until it is cooked and crisped on all sides.

In a small bowl, whisk together all Gochujang sauce ingredients except garlic cloves. Taste and adjust it. If you are not a spicy lover, I recommended you add Gochujang sauce a little by little.

Heat a saucepan- fry to stir garlic minced until it becomes yellow and aroma. Add all the Gochujang sauce ingredients. Stir it until it’s sticky.

Add the grilled tofu over the sauce and mix them together.

Sprinkle with spring onion and sesame and serve!
