Grilled Tofu with Gochujang Sauce Recipe

In this recipe, I was inspired by Korean fried chicken and wanted to try a new way to enjoy the flavors of Gochujang sauce with tofu. The result was a perfectly yummy and healthy dish that is sure to become a new favorite.

These tofu bites are incredibly easy to make and don't take long at all. To prepare the tofu, simply grill it in a pan until it is cooked and crispy. The tofu will have a lightly crispy texture on the outside and a soft texture on the inside.

Then, just add Gochujang sauce over the top of the tofu and stir it together until it's sticky. Finally, sprinkle with sesame seeds and spring onion and enjoy this savory, tangy, spicy, and sweet tofu. It's a delicious and satisfying meal that is perfect for any time of day.

To make this recipe, you are going to need:

  • 250 g. firm tofu
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 tbsp. Gochujang sauce
  • 3 tbsp. Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp. Honey
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcester sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • spring onion
  • sesame

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to make Grilled Tofu with Gochujang Sauce:

1 Drain Tofu and gently press them down with a clean kitchen towel to let the water out for 15 minutes. And then cut it into a bite. Add olive oil and sprinkle some salt over the tofu bites. And then mix it together

3 In a small bowl, whisk together all Gochujang sauce ingredients except garlic cloves. Taste and adjust it. If you are not a spicy lover, I recommended you add Gochujang sauce a little by little.
