Kimchi Fried Rice with Cheese Recipe

Ingredients you need:

  • 1 small cube of butter
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 spring onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup chopped Kimchi
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1 fried egg
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • White sesame , Thinly sliced spring onion, Nori flakes

Heat the butter in the pan, and add 1 small onion diced to caramelize with spring onion and garlic cloves minced to aromatic.

Add 1 cup of chopped kimchi and stir-fried for a few minutes.

Add the rice and drizzle sesame oil on top of the rice. Stir the rice with kimchi until it mixes well. Reduce the heat and gently press down the rice and move the rice to the halve side of the pan.

Spread mozzarella cheese on the other side of the halves pan. Heat the frying pan over low medium heat and cover it with a lid until the mozzarella cheese is melted.

When done, top with a sunny fried egg and sprinkle with nori flakes, spring onion, and sesame.
