Korean Seaweed Side Dish Recipe

Ingredients you need:

  • 300 g. Salted Seaweed Stem
  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil or Olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Korean chili flake
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • A half of medium onion

Open the salted seaweed stem package.

Raise the salted seaweed well in couple of times to remove the salt from the seaweed. Let the seaweed soak in water for 30 minutes or even longer and drain it well.

Chop the seaweed for 2-3 inch.

If it’s still lengthwise, make it into threads with your fingers.

Heat up a pan to over medium high heat. Add some vegetable oil or olive oil. Add minced garlic and sliced half of an onion. Stir them until it fragrant.Add the seaweed stem and stir it for 5 minutes

Add sesame oil. Saute for another 5 minutes. And then add soy sauce, sugar.

Add Korean Chili flakes. This is opional if you like spicy. Adjust seasoning to your taste. And then keep stir them for another 3 minutes.
