Sago Pearls with Cantaloupe Coconut Milk Recipe

Ingredients you need:

  • ½ cup Sago pearl
  • 1 Cantaloupe / Melon
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 5 tbsp. Sugar
  • ¼ tsp. Salt

Wash sago pearls until water is clear.

Heat up the pot to boil water and pour sago pearls into the boiling water. Reduce the heat to medium and keep whisking until you see a tiny white dot in the center of the pearls. Turn off the heat. Drain the water off very well and let the sago pearls cool down for 10 minutes.

Heat up the pot to combine coconut milk, sugar, and salt. Then remove from heat. Let’s cool at room temperature.

Cut the cantaloupe into a bite or use an ice cream baller to scoop out balls of cantaloupe.

Scoop the remaining cantaloupe and place it in a blender. Add the combined coconut milk and blend until it is smooth.

Pour coconut milk mixture into a big bowl and add sago pearls and stir them.

Add cantaloupe bites, stir them and chill in the refrigerator at least for 2 hours before serving
