Pad Mama, or Thai Instant Noodle Stir-Fry, is a classic Thai dish made using the MAMA brand of instant noodles that you can find in most Asian markets around the world.
This classic stir-fry dish, mixed with a handful of vegetables and seasonings, brings out the variety of flavorful tastes the Thai cuisine is best known for. The recipe transforms the classic instant ramen into a delicious and flavorful dish that you just can not get enough of.
MAMA instant noodles are available in various flavors such as pork soup, shrimp Tom Yum spicy soup, Yen Ta Fo, green curry, and more. For this recipe, we are going to prepare them as a stir-fry with a mix of various sauces and seasonings you can find at home.
What I love about this recipe is its simplicity, allowing you to prepare it in less than 25 minutes. You also have the flexibility to include whichever protein and vegetables you might want to eat that particular day like eggs, tofu, chicken, pork, or seafood, etc.
You can enhance the taste even more and add nutritious greens like broccoli, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, carrot, bok choy, or any leafy greens you have available. You can further adjust the taste with oyster sauce, sweet and non-sweet soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, chili flakes, and more.
For this recipe, if you can not find the Thai-branded instant noodle, Mama, you can also substitute it with any other brand available at your local store.
