Thai Shrimp Toast Recipe

6 30 minutes easy

Thai Shrimp Toast, also known as Kanom Pang Na Goong, is a delectable variation of the renowned Thai Pork Toast (Kanom Pang Na Moo) recipe, a popular Thai street food snack that can often be found at vibrant flea markets throughout Thailand, teasing the taste buds of passersby with its tempting flavors and fragrant aroma.

In this version, I substituted shrimp for pork, resulting in an even more delectable and flavorful finger food that is both quick and easy to prepare. If you are looking for a delicious and easy-to-make Thai street snack to make, I highly recommend giving this recipe a try.

Most of the required ingredients are likely already in your kitchen, and it pairs wonderfully with Ajad sauce, a cucumber relish that adds a sweet and sour touch to enhance the savory toast's flavor.

However, if you don't have it on hand or don't care for it, ketchup or Thai sweet chili sauce can serve as tasty alternatives as well. Moreover, this recipe is versatile enough to be adapted to your personal taste, allowing you to use pork, chicken, or any other meat you fancy. So, feel free to customize it according to your preferences.

To make this recipe, you are going to need:

  • 300 g. Ground shrimp
  • 3 white bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 white eggs
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • Pinch of salt
