Sliced Wagyu Beef and Leek Stir-Fry Recipe

2 15 mins easy

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I crave something delicious and premium, while still wanting the bold, diverse flavors of street food. That’s why I came up with this recipe: Sliced Wagyu Beef and Leek Stir-Fry, which perfectly combines tender Wagyu beef with the comforting taste of Asian spices for a truly satisfying dish.

For this recipe, I use sliced Wagyu Japanese chuck rib. While it has a bit less fat than other cuts of Wagyu, it still offers a unique flavor and texture, and when sliced and cooked properly, it creates that melt-in-your-mouth sensation that makes it so, so delicious.

I also pair the meat with fresh garlic, onion, and Japanese leeks for an extra burst of aroma, then stir-fry everything in a sauce made with oyster sauce, soy sauce, and a touch of sugar.

There are just a few key steps to keep the beef tender: marinate the beef in the sauce for about 3 minutes before cooking. Once the pan is ready, pour in the marinated beef and sauté for about 1 minute to combine with the sauce.

Then, add the sliced onion and leeks. Stir for a few minutes to cook—if you prefer crunchy leeks, don’t stir for too long.

And that is it. Now combine the dish with steamed rice, and you are good to go. Let’s get cooking, shall we?
