Teriyaki Mushroom Garlic Fried Rice Recipe

1 25 mins easy

Garlic Fried Rice is another of my favorite ways to add a little twist to the beloved Thai fried rice recipe. It takes just 15 minutes to prepare and is easy, and simple, yet incredibly tasty and aromatic.

This light and tasty garlic fried rice is perfect on its own or as a complement to other savory side dishes. To add more texture, flavor, and crunch, I decided to pair it with grilled mushrooms seasoned with Takumi soy sauce.

It is a simple and easy-to-make dish that can be prepared with basic ingredients: overnight chilled steamed rice, fresh garlic, Takumi soy sauce, optional flavor seasoning powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt. That’s it!

For the best results, it's recommended to use leftover or chilled steamed rice instead of fresh rice, as this helps prevent the fried rice from becoming soggy or clumpy.

Takumi soy sauce is a Japanese product that you can easily find in the Asian section of supermarkets. It contains soy sauce, mirin, sugar, ginger, and sesame oil. The well-blended taste of Takumi soy sauce adds a touch of Japanese cuisine to dishes, making it perfect for cooking methods like stir-frying, dipping, and stewing.

If you're looking for easy lunch or dinner ideas that don’t require many ingredients, give this recipe a try. Now, let’s get cooking!
