Good morning, everyone! Today, I woke up early with a craving for something sweet but healthy. So I checked my kitchen and saw that I had a banana. And with just a few other simple ingredients, I was able to make a delicious and easy breakfast that I wanted to share with you all.
I present to you: banana pancakes! These pancakes are fluffy and have a lovely sweetness from the bananas, and for the sauce, I used local honey from Kyrgyzstan. My goal with this recipe is to use up all the ingredients that I have on hand and adapt them to make something delicious. I hope you give this recipe a try and enjoy it as much as I do!
To make this recipe, you are going to need:
- 1-2 Bananas
- 1/2 Cup All purpose flour
- 1 1/2 Tsp. Sugar
- 1Tsp. Salt
- 3 tsp. Fresh milk
- 1 Tsp. Vegetable oil
- 1/2 Tsp. Vanilla scent
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to make Easy and Quick Banana Pancakes:
1 In a small bowl, whisk the dry ingredients together; flour, sugar, salt.
2 In the other bowl, use a fork to mash the banana very well. Add milk, oil, and vanilla and mix until it is well combined.
3 Add flour mixture to mash banana bowl. If it seems too thick add one tablespoon of milk.
4 Add egg and mix until it's well combined.
5 Heat the Teflon pan until the surface is hot. If you don’t have a Teflon pan, you can add some oil or butter to avoid pancake sticks with the pan.
6 Cook the first side until the tops of the pancakes begin to yellow and bubble. Flip it! And wait until cooked through.
7 On top with some fruit and honey or syrup. Serve and enjoy!
